PRIDE GRAIN CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY A SUCCESS

Over 40 people braved high winds and icy roads to attend Pride Grain’s Customer Appreciation Day held on Friday, March 1, 2002.

A Product Showcase was held throughout the day introducing new product lines carried by Pride Grain. Tim Gant of Gant Feed and Consulting was on hand to provide information regarding the various minerals now available at Pride Grain. In addition to minerals, Pride Grain also handles livestock salt, rolled and whole corn, soybeans and customized corn bean blends. Schaeffer Premium Lubricants were represented by Vern Fischer. He provided customers information regarding Premium SoyShield Biodiesel Additive, Moly Ultra Grease, Moly Roller Chain Lube, Penetro Penetrating Oil, and Citrol All Purpose Cleaner. These products plus Schaeffer Premium Synthetic Blends of motor oil are now available through Pride Grain.

The crowd was treated to a roast beef lunch catered by Marjorie Wilkins. Following lunch a marketing seminar was presented by Advance Trading Representatives. Nathan Mangold presented a fundamental outlook for the corn and soybean market. Stuart Carlson discussed establishing a risk management and marketing program.

Winners of Door Prizes included Scott Erthum, Verna Lahm, Dorrinda Ellwanger, Ron Hartz, Wayne Carpenter, Janet Anderson, Wade Nelson, Orville Morlang, and Mick Davis.
